Anderson Elementary School releases third-grade school supply list

Anderson Elementary School has released a list of necessary school supplies for third-grade students.   Students will need one package of Crayola crayons (with at least 16 colors); one sharp 5-inch pair of Fiskars scissors; two 4-ounce bottles of Elmer's glue; two packs of Kleenex tissues (each with 110 tissues); 36 No. 2 wooden pencils (Oriole or American) or mechanical pencils; one pack of Crayola thick classic washable markers (with at least eight colors); one pack of 7-inch Crayola colored pencils (with at least eight colors); one nylon pencil bag with a clear top; one pink bevel eraser; four black marble composition notebooks (with 100 pages each); one each of red, yellow, orange, blue, green and purple pocket and brad folders; two packs of 150 filler paper; one 50-pack of 12-by-18 manila paper; one 50 pack of 12-by-18-inch loose assorted construction paper; one 50-pack of 12-by-18 white construction paper; and one Xerographic paper ream with 500 pages.   These supplies are needed for the coming 2012-2013 school year starting in the fall. Spring Independent School District classes will start on Monday, Aug. 27.   Anderson Elementary School is located at 6218 Lynngate Drive in Spring.
