Texas Stallions Track Club announces meeting
The Texas Stallions Track Club announced it will hold a free information and registration meeting at Neal's Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.
The meeting is open to parents and all children in the region interested in running cross country. Parents and prospective athletes will be provided with valuable information about the upcoming season, which begins Monday, Sept. 10.
The track club is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 18 with all levels of running experience. Many former members of the track club have gone on to compete at the national level and have made running a lifestyle.
