Spring runners complete Run Wild 5K
Thirty runners from Spring completed the Run Wild 5K on Wednesday, July 4, in Houston.
The Spring runners who participated in the race are Christian Munguia, 19 (18:54); Bernard Borski, 55 (22:58); Paul Blutt, 33 (25:34); Doug Hanson, 38 (25:41); Tim McWilliams, 53 (25:52); Deborah Borski, 55 (25:55); Karey Dristas, 33 (26:07); Sean Robertson, 38 (26:14); Jeanette Hagelskaer, 45 (27:00); Elaine Drugan, 59 (28:37); Brittani Burress, 29 (28:56); James Dristas, 33 (29:20); Kennedy West, 39 (29:22); Leigh Fontana, 48 (29:24); Kay Hill, 41 (30:27); Amber Seely, 31 (31:17); Frannie Smith, 15 (31:24); Steve Drugan, 59 (31:49); Vicki Delgado, 31 (33:04); Stacey Smith, 46 (33:55); Jennifer Triplett, 42 (35:10); Jonathan Jimenez, 15 (35:52); Trey Triplett, 17 (36:02); Perla Fordyce, 37 (17:35); Liz Lopez, 39 (37:13); Maggie Smith, 13 (38:10); Edgar Flores, 17 (39:49); Jack Baker, 77 (40:53); Angela Hsu, 50 (45:34); Kim Norfolk, 42 (46:33); and Thea Hagelskaer, 10 (57:20).
A total of 1,287 runners finished the 5K race, which was held in Uptown Park. The proceeds of the race will benefit Special Olympics Texas.
Sean Wade, of Houston, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 15:38, while Megan Siebert, of Dallas, was the women’s winner in 18:10.
