Spring runners complete Polish Pickle 5K
Five runners from Spring completed the Polish Pickle 5K Run on June 23 in Bremond.
The Spring runners who finished the race are Gary Johnson, 57 (22:02); Dave Barnhart, 34 (29:13); Mandy Barton, 20 (31:58); Kim Barnhart, 30 (34:02); and Russell McCoy, 43 (41:08).
A total of 526 runners finished the 5K race, which started on Main Street in front of The Bremond Press.
Gustavo Roman Jr., of College Station, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 16:23, while Hannah Steffan, of Austin, was the women’s winner in 17:26.
