Geologist buys 4BD home in North Houston

Kaare D. Egedahl acquired a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 3410 Haven Oaks Drive in North Houston from Rebecca S. Lum on March 12.

The 3,157-square-foot house, built in 1983, is in North Houston in the Olde Oaks subdivision. It is valued at $147,995.

Egedahl is a geologist at Marathon Oil Corporation. Previously, he was a geologist at Plains Exploration & Production, a draftsman at Lufkin Industries and an intern at Anadarko Petroleum.

He holds a B.S. in petroleum geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he is currently working on an M.S. in petroleum geology.
