Math whiz believes in academic competitions

Stephen Price

Stephen Price

Stephen Price, an eighth-grader and Spring resident, competes regularly in math competitions. He said these competitions do not get the attention they deserve. “I feel like a lot of people don’t know about it,” he said. “Or, a lot of students who would like to participate can’t because of lack of knowledge. America is not doing the academic programs. We’re not doing as great as it needs to be. I feel like we need more knowledge and more awareness.”
