Spring man sues after slip, fall during Astros game
A Spring man is suing over claims he sustained injuries because the Houston Astros failed to provide fans with a safe stadium environment.
Dewey Powell filed a lawsuit on April 5 in Harris County District Court against the Houston Astros, citing negligence.
Powell says on April 7, 2010, he sustained injuries when he slipped and fell down a wet ramp while walking to his seat during a Houston Astros game. According to the brief, a security guard came to his aid and apologized for staff who failed to put up a sign warning of the dangerous condition of the ramp.
Powell is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Dallas attorney Christina Davis.
