Cagle to run for Harris Precinct 4 Commissioner seat
Commissioner Judge R. Jack Cagle will run for the Harris Precinct 4 Commissioner seat.
Cagle has held the position since October, when he was selected to fill the vacancy.
"I love serving the people of Harris County Precinct 4 and hope to continue serving them for a very long time," Cagle said in a press release.
Cagle is interested in helping the future of the area by bringing in businesses.
"The challenge," Cagle added "will be to provide good, safe, business and family friendly communities with tight taxpayer dollars."
The Republican Primary will be held on March 6 and be followed by a general election later in the year. If appointed, Cagle will serve a four-year term beginning in 2014.
