Volleyball: Panthers travel to Tomball
Tomball and Klein Oak are in the thick of the 13-5A volleyball race and a victory keeps the winner near the top of the standings with Klein Collins. The rest of the 13-5A field - Dekaney, Klein, Westfield, Spring and Klein Forest - is duking it out to be in position for the district's final postseason spot, and Klein Oak and Tomball want to keep winning and stay above that fray heading into the second round of league play. Forsythe is a sophomore starter who saw varsity action as a freshman on the 2010 playoff team ... The Lady Cougars qualified for the postseason as the third-place finisher in 13-5A and fell to Kingwood 23-25, 25-18, 25-7, 25-20 in the first round last year ...
