Klein ISD student hosts instrument drive for elementary school
Klein ISD student Michael Casagrande will be hosting an instrument drive for elementary school students from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Klein Oak orchestra room.
Casagrande, who is becoming is Eagle Scout and has played double bass since he was in the fifth grade strings program at Hassler Elementary, is responsible for organizing the event. Proceeds benefit KISD elementary students.
Casagrande encourages people to donate instruments of all kinds. People can also make monetary donations, which will be used to repair instruments or buy new ones. All donations are tax deductible, and all donors will receive a receipt for their contribution.
