HS Football: Westfield defeats Travis

Westfield defeated Travis in high school football action Friday.

The Broncos, 2-0, won the game 27-21 at George Stadium.   Quarterback Kriegan Bridges rushed for 157 yards and two scores and passed for 131 yards and a touchdown in the victory.   Up next, Westfield will visit Hastings next Saturday at 7 p.m. in Crump Stadium.   Friday’s loss dropped Travis to 1-2 on the season.   Quarterback Kyle Coulter went 23-44 for 245 yards, two scores and one pick in the loss.   Travis will host Willowridge this Thursday at 7 p.m. in Mercer Stadium.
