Spring Tri-Club to present annual livestock show and sale

The 60th annual Spring Tri-Club Livestock Show and Sale will be held Thursday, March 31, through Saturday, April 2, at Nagy Pavilion.
Entries will begin arriving in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday, March 30, and the show will get underway at 9 a.m. March 31 and end with an awards ceremony and live auction at 12:30 p.m. April 2.
The event will feature exhibits by Spring ISD students involved in Future Farmers of America and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America at Dekaney, Spring, Westfield and Wunsche high schools and local 4-H chapters. Exhibits will include animals, food, horticulture, arts, crafts and photography.
Saturday's schedule will include a chili cook-off, a buyers reception and luncheon, an awards ceremony and a live auction followed by a private sale. During the ceremony, Mark and Diane Powers will be introduced as the Spring Tri-Club's 2011 Honorees.
The three-day event is free and open to the public.
Nagy Pavilion is located at Lemm Road 1.
