Blind man sues Spring resident over property transfer
A Spring resident is being sued over a property transfer.
Robert Trimmer filed a lawsuit on Feb. 17 in the Harris County District Court against Ruth Milton, alleging fraud.
Trimmer, a blind man, says that on Feb. 21, 2007, Milton deceived him into transferring his property to her. According to the brief, Milton intentionally misrepresented the nature of the document he had signed; being blind, he was unaware that he was giving his property to her.
Trimmer is seeking actual and exemplary damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. He is representing himself in the case.
