HS girls basketball: Klein Forest defeats Woodlands College Park
Klein Forest barely got by Woodlands College Park 65-64 in high school girls basketball playoff action on Monday.
A 24-9 first-quarter lead by Klein Forest set the tone early in the game.
The win ups Klein Forest’s record to 27-10 on the season and 10-4 in district play.
Ekiya Gray led her team to the victory with 19 points.
Woodlands College Park falls to 18-13 on the season and 8-4 in district play.
Megan Shafer had a big game with 29 points in the loss.
