Suit centers on Spring fire
A Spring resident is being sued after a fire spread throughout an apartment complex, allegedly causing more than $900,000 in damages.
Alliance PP2 FX4 and Alliance PP2 Holdings filed a lawsuit on Feb. 10 in the Harris County District Court against Timothy Seymour, citing negligence.
The plaintiffs say that on May 12, 2010, a fired erupted at the Driscoll Apartments in Spring because of Seymour’s misuse of a cooking instrument. According to the brief, the fire spread throughout the apartment complex, causing more than $900,000 worth of damage.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in the amount of $994,987.91 and court costs. They are being represented in the case by San Antonio attorney Scott Cline.
